Where you need us, when you need us.
Super Sucker responds quickly to time-sensitive and emergency situations, getting on-site and excavating when you need it. Often we can get a truck to your site the same day or next, depending on availability and locates. For projects where more lead time is possible, calling one week prior to digging will typically ensure you have a hydrovac for your project.
Our hydrovac trucks arrive to your site fully equipped and with fully emptied storage tanks – no stopping early to dump tanks already partially filled from a previous job. Onsite productivity is paramount.
With locations in Burlington, Hamilton, London, Mississauga, and Newmarket, Ontario, and a large fleet of hydro vac units, suction excavators, core trucks, slingers, and mobile concrete mixers, we are equipped to service small and large projects throughout Ontario.
Overview of services offered:
Also known as hydro excavation, potholing, daylighting, hydro-trenching or vacuum excavation, hydrovac excavation uses high-pressure water to mechanically break up earth while simultaneously vacuuming the area clear of debris. It is a safer, more efficient and non-destructive method of excavating than traditional hydraulic or manual methods.
Suction excavation is the process by which high pressure air is used to break up dirt and material. This material is then vacuumed up into a truck via hose and can be disposed of either site or a designated disposal site. This process has given us the capability to leave the materials on site since, for this specific method, we have removed the use of water. Our new suction excavators offer the latest in safe digging technology, proven in use throughout Europe and around the world.
Coring is the process of safely cutting asphalt or concrete using keyhole technology. Once the core is removed, hydrovac excavation is used to expose the utilities, and the client can then retrieve specific information, or perform repairs using keyhole tools. After backfill, the core is easily reinstated using Utilibond, a bonding compound specially developed so that the core is permanent upon replacement.
Super Sucker can assist in locating underground utilities by providing Quality Level A confirmation of the subsurface infrastructure.
The process of excavating to expose an underground utility or removing earth in close proximity to a utility. Hydrovac excavation is a safer, more precise and efficient method of excavating or potholing.
Filling an excavated area with earth to return the site to normal. Super Sucker ensures that backfill is sufficiently compacted to prevent surface holes and subsurface pockets with earth settling.
