Today we celebrate with Christians around the world in celebrating Easter Monday. While not often given the same celebratory flair as Christmas , where we celebrate Jesus’ birth, for many it is the most important date on the calendar. While Good Friday was a time of mourning of His suffering and death, today we rejoice in his resurrection. He died and rose again. He lives and so we too may have eternal life; this is the very basis of the Christian faith. It is this message of hope and love that it is a comfort for many and the true meaning of Easter as a time of thanks and renewal.

The Ontario Regional Common Ground Alliance (ORCGA) and its members have designated April as Dig Safe Month in Ontario. This month is dedicated to raising awareness of safe digging practices across the province to improve safety and reduce damages to underground plant.
Ensuring the safety of those who work or live in the vicinity of underground facilities and protecting vital services is everyone’s responsibility. The ORCGA and its members are encouraging homeowners and contractors to call for locates before they dig to prevent injuries, property damage and inconvenient outages. Source: Digsafe.ca

Jeff Hitchcock from Ontario One Call was our guest speaker and we drew for a bunch of excellent prizes…our employees even won sets of tickets to Blue Jays – Yankees on Opening weekend!
