Super Sucker Surface Coring

Posted on Friday, May 23rd, 2014

We’re are excited about next week’s Trenchless Technology Road Show  (May 27th-29th) and look forward to showcasing our innovative coring technology in support of hydro vac excavation..

 Coring is treinstated core 18 mths later 1he process of safely cutting asphalt or concrete using keyhole technology. Once the core is removed, hydro vac excavation is used to expose the utilities.  The client can then retrieve specific information, or perform repairs using keyhole tools. After backfill, the original core is easily reinstated using a bonding compound specially engineered so that the core is permanent (and virtually invisible) upon replacement.

Benefits of this technology include no reduction in long-term surface integrity, reduced carbon footprint as less excavation waste is sent to landfill sites, and less traffic disruption.  In fact, companies can save over 50% in site restoration costs.

National Day of Honour

National Day of Honour

Whereas Canadians, both at home and abroad, have honourably, courageously and loyally served Canada by participating in the Afghanistan mission from 2001 to 2014;

Whereas March 31, 2014 marks the end of the Canadian military mission in Afghanistan;

Whereas the strength and courage demonstrated by our men and women in uniform serving on the battlefield and supported by personnel from other government departments have advanced the national interests of Canada in the fight against terrorism;

Whereas the families of our men and women of Her Majesty’s Canadian Armed Forces and Canadian communities from coast to coast to coast have admirably and consistently supported the sacrifices being made by those serving in Afghanistan;

Whereas it is desirable to build and strengthen an appreciation in Canadians for their contribution to the Afghanistan campaign and to promote the special role our families and communities play when our sons and daughters are in foreign lands;

And whereas it is desirable to recognize our appreciation for the sacrifice of all those who serve our great nation and all those who have paid the ultimate price for freedom;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, orders that a proclamation do issue declaring May 9, 2014 as a “National Day of Honour”.

The employees of Super Sucker Hydro Vac are grateful for the opportunity, alongside our fellow Canadians, to remember the over 40,000 men and women who served in our country’s military mission in Afghanistan.  We especially remember the fallen, the wounded, and their families;  it is difficult to comprehend their pain and loss.

Tomorrow, Friday, May 9th at 1:30 EDT we will be offered an opportunity to honour the legacy of these heroes with a national moment of silence; we will remember their service and will be praying for peace.
